Environnment

Lately, we have taken the initiative to evolve into an environmentally friendly corporation by taking steps in our process of printing methods.

Vegetable oil inks

When possible, our products are printed using soy oil-based inks instead of traditional petroleum-based ink. Also known as vegetable oil ink, soy ink is a great advancement in the print industry.

Because of its simple compound, soy ink is safer and more environmentally friendly than petroleum-based ink. When using a more simple and efficient process to make the ink, very little energy is consumed. Soy ink can also be easily removed from paper, which is helpful in paper recycling, as paper processing is quicker.

Eco-friendly paper

One of the essential ingredients in the print industry is paper. We utilize paper that is made from trees specifically for paper-making and is not produced from illegally deforested trees. Whenever possible, we use FSC-certified paper composed of virgin tree fibers that can be just as eco-friendly as recycled paper.

Offering recycled paper is one of the most important steps we have taken towards an eco-friendlier corporation. Many of our papers contain more than 50% of recycled content:

  • Uncoated stocks containing recycle fibers
  • Cotton stock (100% recycled content)
  • Brown Kraft (100% recycled paper)
  • Black Suede (60% recycled content)

Recognizing our responsibility as good corporate citizens and global citizens, we have invested in the processes and materials to provide environmentally friendly printing solutions to our clientele.
